Teyssier has turned out beautifully. Soft, floral and silky, the 2018 Teyssier is a terrific introduction to the vintage. Sweet dark cherry, plum, mocha, espresso and spice are nicely lifted in this suave, supple Saint-Emilion. Bright, floral notes appear on the finish to add perfume and lift. The 2018 is even more impressive than it was from barrel. Even better, it is one of the more modestly priced Saint-Emilions in the market, with a level of production that also makes it relatively easy to source. Once again, Jonathan Maltus and his team have done a fabulous job with their most visible wine .
Seductive purplish-red in color with aromas of dark fruit and liquorice, as well as hints of spicy notes such as black pepper and cloves. On the palate it is long and refreshing with flavors of ripe fruit and soft tannins
